Gunmen kill 3 police in northwest Pakistan

About 100 militants ambushed a police station in a northwestern Pakistani city on Friday, shooting dead three officers, police say.

Another nine officers were wounded in the morning gunbattle in the Sarband neighborhood on the city's edge, said Saeed Khan, a senior police official in Peshawar city. (AP)
