UN chief calls on Lebanon to protect peacekeepers
UN Chief Ban Ki-Moon says he has called on Lebanese officials to boost protection of peacekeepers based in southern Lebanon.
Ban made his statement during a visit to the peacekeeping forces known as UNIFIL based near the border with Israel. Last year, three roadside bomb attacks hit the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon, wounding 16 soldiers. (AP)
