Aide to Eda Haredit leader released from custody

The Jerusalem Magistrates' Court ordered that police release Amram Shapira, the personal assistant of Eda Haredit leader Rabbi Yitzhak Tuvia Weiss.
Shapira was arrested in Mea Shearim early Sunday along with five other haredim suspected of carrying out tax offenses involving millions of shekels. (Kobi Nahshoni)
