Verint buys Israeli Focal Info

Cost of deal undisclosed. Focal Info deals in Web data analysis; founder Amit Bohensky to continue to head company's activity in Comverse subsidiary

Comverse subsidiary Verint on Monday announced the acquisition of Focal Info, an Israeli company which develops Web data analysis solutions.

 

The cost of the deal has yet to be disclosed.

 

"The incorporation of Focal Info's technology and products with Verint's will yield advanced and innovative solutions for the company's clients and strengthen Verint's position as a leading provider of intelligence solutions for security and business organizations'," said Verint Israel President Meir Sperling.

 

Verint develops security and business intelligence systems and services.

 

Focal Info founder Amit Bohensky, who will lead Focal Info's extended activity in Verint, commented: "We are pleased to join Verint and are happy with the future outcome of the incorporation of our advanced capacities for web data analysis into Verint's existing line of products.

 

"We are happy about the opportunity for joint innovation and the opportunity to provide existing clients with options to improve their organizations."
