Bill aiming to raise combat troops' bonuses passes 2nd, 3rd readings

A bill proposing to double some IDF soldier's discharge bonuses has passed its second and third readings at the Knesset. The measure was approved unanimously.

The legislation calls to gradually raise the bonuses given to troops who complete their three-year service in a combat unit from NIS 9,648 to NIS 20,000 by 2016. (Ynet)
