Report: Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal won't seek reelection

A Hamas source told the Palestinian news agency Maan that Khaled Mashaal does not intend to contend again for the role of Hamas politburo chief in the next elections.
According to the source, Hamas policies don't allow Mashaal to seek reelection because he already served two terms in the position. The official said he expects Mashaal to be succeeded by his deputy, Moussa Abu Marzok. (Elior Levy)
