The Knesset's Ethics Committee has suspended Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi from the plenum and from participating in committee meetings for a period of one week. Yet he will still be able to take part in plenum votes.
The committee's decision comes in response to a speech Tibi made in the Knesset in which he read out a song called "Anasstasia's plumbing was damaged", which he wrote following the incident in which MK Michaeli threw a glass of water in MK Raleb Majadele's face. (Moran Azulay)
