Mubarak lawyer: Ousted president remains commander of air force
None
Hosni Mubarak's lawyer Farid El-Deeb said that the ousted Egyptian leader is still the commander of the country's air force, as per military law.
According to Deeb, the law asserts that air force officers continue serving in the army their entire lives, even after they retire. Therefore, Mubarak, who holds a rank of lieutenant-general, is still the air force commander. (Roi Kais)
