2 kids hurt during dud explosion near IDF base

Two children aged 10 and 12 sustained moderate to serious wounds during an explosion at a fire practice area near an IDF base in Tel Arad. Police investigation suggests that the two, who reside in the territories, were apparently hit by a dud.
A Magen David Adom team administered first aid treatment and took the two to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. (Ilana Curiel)
