Report: Mashaal to visit Gaza with Abbas

Palestinian sources told the London-based al-Hayat newspaper that Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal plans on visiting the Gaza Strip together with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
It was also reported that Mashaal asked Egyptian leaders to enable his visit to Gaza. It was recently announced that Mashaal will not run again for the position of Hamas politburo chief after 16 years in office. (Roi Kais)
