Peres urges justice minister to act against mufti

President Shimon Peres met with Justice Minister Yaakov Ne'eman and asked him to take steps against the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Mohammed Hussein who called to kill Jews. "This is very serious and Israel's law enforcement authorities must use all means in their disposal to prevent such calls," Peres said.
Ne'eman said he will instruct his staff to conduct a thorough check on the legal ways that can be employed to fight the phenomenon. (Attila Somfalvi)
