Council of Europe appoints new Middle East envoy

The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) appointed German Ambassador to Syria Andreas Reinicke as the special envoy to the Middle East peace process.

Reinicke will represent the Council of Europe on political affairs in the region and promote the two-state solution framework. (Attila Somfalvi)
