Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat has suspended his deputy, Eli Simhayoff, due to the indictment filed against him in the Holyland affair.
Simhayoff, who is accused of taking a bribe as part of the real estate affair, refused to suspend himself despite the recommendation of the municipality's legal adviser. (Omri Efraim)
