Knesset passes bill banning celebs from alcohol ads

A bill that prohibits celebrities from promoting alcoholic beverages passed its second and third readings at the Knesset, with 23 members voting in favor of the measure and none voting against it.

The bill also limits the advertisement of alcoholic beverages in the media and prohibits the products from being featured on buses and billboards. (Moran Azulay and Zvi Lavi)
