TurkishpParliamentary speaker rejects invitation to visit Israel
Turkish Parliamentary Speaker Cemil Çiçek rejected Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin's invitation to visit Israel, Hurriyet newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Çiçek thanked Rivlin for the invitation, but noted that the visit would be possible only after the two countries' relations improve. "I am rejecting the offer for now," he said, adding: "I am sure you are aware of the conditions Turkey has set for the normalization of relations with Israel." (Ynet)
