China: EU sanctions against Iran 'not constructive'

The sanctions adopted Monday by the European Union against Iran to persuade it to abandon its nuclear program are "not constructive", China said.

"Exercising pressure and imposing blind sanctions on Iran is not a constructive approach," Beijing's Foreign Ministry said. (AFP)
