Report: US seeking mightier bomb against Iran
The US Department of Defense believes the American army's largest "bunker buster" bombs are incapable of destroying Iran's fortified nuclear facilities, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
According to the report, Pentagon war planners have reached the conclusion that the conventional 14-ton bombs are insufficient and should be improved. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
