Syrian opposition accuses Iran of participating in massacres
The Syrian National Council (CNS) has condemned Iran's "participation" in the violent repression of protests in Syria, and called on Tehran to stop supporting the regime in Damascus.
"The Council condemns the Iranian regime's involvement in the massacre of freedom-seeking Syrians, and calls on it to stop taking part in the repression of the revolution in order to preserve the ties between the two peoples," said Samir Nashar, a member of the CNS Executive Committee in a press conference in Istanbul.
