Bill proposes to require new Knesset candidates to reveal funding sources
MK Yariv Levin (Likud) has proposed a new law that would require anyone who announces candidacy for the Knesset to submit a party registration request.
If passed, the legislation would require the politician to abide by the Political Parties Financing Law, which compels candidates to reveal their sources of funding, among other regulations. The bill was submitted with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's backing. (Moran Azulay)
