White House: Assad's regime has lost control

White House Spokesman Jay Carney has estimated that Syrian President Bashar Assad's government is on the verge of collapse, saying that the regime has lost control of the country.
Earlier, a French diplomat said that at least 10 countries on the UN Security Council support a resolution to take action against the regime in Damascus. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
