Report: Syrian army kills 100 in Homs, Damascus suburbs
Some 100 people were killed in Syria at the hand of President Bashar Assad's regime forces, opposition groups reported. Most of the victims were killed in the city of Homs and on the outskirts of Damascus, where the regime's army clashed with the rebels' Free Syrian Army.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Revolution General Commission, an opposition group, urged Assad's soldiers to defect and avoid firing on civilians. (Roi Kais)
