CBS reports 6% drop in 2011 demand for apartments

The number of new apartments sold or built by their inhabitants dropped 6% in 2011 compared with 2010, a report published by the Central Bureau of Statistics suggests.
Nevertheless, a 200% rise in apartment demand was recorded in Tel Aviv, Rishon Lezion, Netanya, Rehovot, Hod Hasharon and Ganei Tikva. (Avital Lahav)
