German airline Lufthansa says it is resuming its regular flights to the Libyan capital.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG said in a statement Wednesday there will be three flights a week between its German hub in Frankfurt and Tripoli starting this week. The airline, a Star Alliance member, suspended its flights to Tripoli a year ago amid growing turmoil there. The country then slid into civil war and a NATO-led military intervention eventually allowed rebels to oust the regime of Moammar Gadhafi. (AP)
