Iran issues travel ban to Syria following pilgrims' abduction
Iran has announced that it will not allow its citizens to travel to Syria by land, after some 25 Iranian pilgrims were abducted by armed men during a bus tour of holy places.
Iranian Border Police Commander Mahmoud Sadki stressed that the travel ban was issued due to "terrorist activities against pilgrims," adding that it will remain in effect until further notice. (Dudi Cohen)
