Palestinian sources: Abbas, Mashaal to meet in Qatar
Palestinian sources said that PA President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to meet with Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal on Sunday in Doha, Qatar. According to reports, Hamas Prime Minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh, who is visiting Qatar, is set to attend the meeting as well.
Mashaal aide Mousa Abu Marzook said that the meeting is to be held at the behest of the Qatari government. Abbas and Mashaal are expected to discuss the implementation of the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation agreement and the formation of an interim government. (Elior Levy)
