Iran announces production of new anti-ship missile

Iran has launched the mass production of a new anti-ship short-range cruise missile named "Zafar," the Iranian state television's website reported.

The missile, designed to be mounted on speedboats, is protected from interception and is "capable of destroying small and medium ships with high accuracy," the report said. (AFP)
