Russia UN envoy: Syria proposal 'unbalanced'

The vetoed draft UN resolution calling for a transfer of power in Syria was "unbalanced," said Russian Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin.

The text "did not reflect the reality of the situation in Syria," he said. (AFP)
