Year in jail for teen who stabbed Arab
The Nazareth District Court sentenced a 17-year-old from the north to one year in prison after he was convicted of stabbing an Arab.
The accused and his friends ran over youths from the Wadi Hamam town near Tiberias and the defendant had stabbed one of the Arabs, a 15-year-old. In addition to the sentence, the boy will pay a NIS 5,000 fine ($1,350) and NIS 30,000 ($8,100) in compensation to one of the victims. (Ahiya Raved)
