Abbas, Mashaal reach agreement on unity government
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has met with Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal in Qatar to discuss the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation agreement. Palestinian sources said that Abbas and Mashaal have reached an agreement on the establishment of an interim unity government.
The two are expected to meet later Sunday to discuss who should lead the new government, and its ministerial make up. (Elior Levy)
