MK Rotem on Kam petition: I set committee agenda
Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee head MK David Rotem addressed the petition filed against him by Anat Kam the High Court of Justice claiming that Rotem is delaying discussions on the "Kam bill" which aims to change espionage guidelines. The bill may cause her sentence to be commuted.
"Anat Kam cannot expect the Knesset members, who believe that loyalty and citizenship are bound together would help promote a bill which might facilitate her," said Rotem. "The committee's agenda is determined by the committee head." (Aviad Glickman)
