MK Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al) has protested the Knesset Ethics Committee's decision to ban him from making speeches for one month by ascending to the parliament's speaker podium and standing there in silence for one minute.
"There is one thing they won't take away from me, and it's the right to protest," he explained earlier. The committee decided to punish Tibi for verbally confronting MK Yitzhak Vaknin during a Knesset session three weeks ago. (Moran Azulay)
