Prof. Katz, Cohen awarded Israel Prize for Cultural Research
Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced Prof. Ruth Katz and Prof. Dalia Cohen as winners of the 2012 Israel Prize for Culture, Arts and Music Research.
The judges who selected Katz and Cohen said the two have changed the music field in their 50 years of research and have displayed excellence in the Israeli and Arabic folk music category (Tomer Valmar)
