Bill aiming to curb female draft-dodging approved for final vote
A government bill that aims to reduce the number of female draft-dodgers is to be put up for a deciding vote at a joint panel consisting of Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and Constitution, Law and Justice Committee members.
The legislation proposes to annul draft exemptions granted to women who claimed to be religious but failed to maintain a religious lifestyle for two years. (Moran Azulay)
