Eini meets Steinitz in attempt to prevent general strike
Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini is meeting with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz in an attempt to break the impasse in the talks between the labor union and the Treasury, and prevent the general strike that was announced for Wednesday.
Earlier, officials said that significant progress has been made in the negotiations between Eini and representatives of the Coordinating Office of Economic Organizations. (Tani Goldstein and Moran Azulay)
