General strike gets into motion
Negotiations between the Finance Ministry and the Labor Federation have been halted as the general strike went into effect on Wednesday. The parties are scheduled to resume talks in the evening.
Israel Railways, the Ben Gurion Airport and Israeli ports have ceased operations. (Avital Lahav)
