Steinitz, Eini meet in attempt to halt general strike

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini have convened at the Finance Ministry in an attempt to reach an agreement on the employment of contract workers. If no deal is reached, the general strike is to continue on Sunday.

The airport, seaport and train services are to be restored at 6 am regardless of the strike. The Egged and Dan bus companies, on the other hand, are to reduce the frequency of service. (Omri Efraim)
