Cabinet approves Vilnai as new China ambassador
The government voted in favor of Home Front Defense Minister Matan Vilnai's appointment
as Israeli ambassador to China. The vote was unanimous.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "The appointment of an ambassador to china is of the utmost national importance. We strive to expand our trade and economic ties with growing powers in the east, and especially with China." (Moran Azulay)
