UN consultant shot dead in Egyptian capital
The United Nations says one of its freelance consultants was fatally shot in the head while driving through an upscale Cairo neighborhood.
An Egyptian security official says the woman was not targeted, but died in a random daytime shooting Sunday while driving her jeep on one of Cairo's busiest streets in the Mohandiseen neighborhood. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to reporters. (AP)
