Official: Palestinians to ask Arab League to hold peace conference
Palestinian leadership is to ask the Arab League on Sunday to hold an "international peace conference," said a Palestinian official who is visiting Cairo as part of PA President Mahmoud Abbas' delegation.
"Among other proposals, we will ask the Arab League's monitoring committee to convene an international peace conference on the Palestinian issue," Fatah representative Azzam al-Ahmad said. (AFP)
