An IDF
solider has been indicted Monday of sodomizing a fellow soldier in front of other soldiers in his unit.
Corporal A, serving in an Air Force base in southern Israel, has been accused of abusing another soldier. According to the charges, the complainant got sunburned after spending a hot summer's day at the military pool, after which he returned to his living quarters at the base. A few soldiers, including the accused, were in the room.

The complainant then asked Corporal A to put some cooling cream on his burnt back. According to the incitement, A wrapped his hand with nylon, pulled down the complainant's pants and sodomized him. None of the other soldiers present in the room attempted to stop A. On the contrary, they laughed.
The following day, Corporal A offered the complainant money for not reporting the case, but the soldier rejected his offer.
The Military Prosecution decided not to press charges against the other soldiers who witnessed the act, since the evidence fails to show an criminal act on their behalf.
The incitement against Corporal A also accuses him of a second act of violence, describing how he punched another soldier's groin during an argument.
