State to reply to residency requests filed for migrant workers' kids

The Immigration and Population Authority is to begin on Wednesday to reply to residency applications filed for children of migrant workers. Families whose applications are approved are expected to receive their state identification cards on Sunday.

Families whose requests were denied due to ineligibility will be asked to leave the country within a month of being notified. Families with kids who attend schools and kindergartens are to receive an extension until the end of the school year, and will be asked to leave by July 15. (Omri Efraim)
