Report: Abbas to travel to Gaza this month

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to visit Gaza at the end of February along with Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal, Palestinian sources told the London-based newspaper Al-Hayat.
According to one source, Abbas' visit will come within the framework of a "broader agreement than the Doha deal between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, which will pave the way for the resumption of negotiations with Israel." (Elior Levy)
