"We’ve made very clear that they (Iranians) are not to develop a nuclear weapon, that they are not to close the Straits of Hormuz,” US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told the Senate Armed Services Committee.
He mentioned that the Obama administration said a few days ago it does not think Israel has made a decision to strike at Iran's nuclear installations. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
