Ahmadinejad: 9,000 centrifuges operating in Natnaz

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran, which has about 6,000 centrifuges operating in its Natanz nuclear plant, has added 3,000 new centrifuges.
"Some 6,000 centrifuges were operating, 3,000 new ones have been added - bringing the total to 9,000," Ahmadinejad said in a speech broadcasted live on television. (Dudi Cohen and AFP)
