Fayyad: No peace without Jerusalem as Palestine's capital

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said Wednesday that the Palestinian Authority will operate in east Jerusalem out of obligation towards the Palestinians living there.
During his weekly radio address Fayyad said that east Jerusalem is an integral part of the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel. He said that Israel must understand that there can be no sustainable peace without Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian State. (Elior Levy)
