Guns N' Roses to play in Israel this summer
Legendary rock band scheduled to perform in Israel this summer following ceaseless changes in the group
The summer of 2012 is due to be a summer to remember. Guns N' Roses, the legendary American rock and roll band has signed off to perform in Israel on July 3rd in Hayarkon Park, Tel Aviv.
The Guns and Roses last performed in Israel in 1993, at which point they were at the height of their career and could even be considered as the greatest rock-n-roll band in the world.
The band is due to perform in Tel Aviv this summer, following many attempts to bring them back to Israel, Yedioth Ahronot reported on Thursday.
Since its breakup in the mid-90's, members have been sacked and replaced unceasingly.
with Axl Rose the only remaining link to its golden past. Following 14 years of hard work, Rose released the band's newest album "Chinese Democracy", and has been touring Europe.
Rose has continued to be as unpredictable as he was during his golden days. He rarely gives interviews and cancels scheduled shows.
Last year the band was supposed to perform in Israel, but the show was canceled.
The Guns N' Roses are due to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, just before theie performance in Israel. Due to the two leading members of the band, Axl and Slash's falling out, several rumors floated around wondering whether the two would accept the honor together.
