Peres promises to aid PA following bus crash

President Shimon Peres spoke to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday and expressed sorrow over the death of eight Palestinians killed in a road accident north of Jerusalem. "The State of Israel will provide the victims with any medical aid necessary," he said.
Abbas thanked Peres for his comments and stressed "this is a great tragedy for the Palestinian people." (Ynet)
