Beersheba: Former cop gets year in jail for sexually assaulting teen

The Beersheba District Court has sentenced a former police officer to a year in prison and 18 months of probation for committing an indecent act against a 15-year-old girl.
Elbaz was convicted in 2008 of picking up the teen, who was waiting for a cab on an Ashdod street, taking her to a secluded location on the beach and sexually assaulting her. (Ilana Curiel)
