US: Terror suspect arrested near Capitol in FBI sting

A 29-year-old Moroccan man was arrested Friday in an FBI sting operation near the US Capitol as police say he was planning to detonate what he thought were live explosives.
Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd said the suspect was closely monitored by law enforcers, and the purported explosives were deactivated, so the public was not in danger. (AP)
