Border Guard officer, underage brother charged with assault
The Police Investigations Unit filed an indictment with the Haifa Magistrate's Court Sunday against a Border Guard officer, 20, and his underage brother, for severely injuring a person who asked them to dispose of their liquor bottles.
According to the indictment, the two were sitting in a forest near Kiryat Tivon surrounded by bottles of alcohol two weeks ago, when a passerby told them to throw them in the bin. In response, the minor stabbed him with a Ginsu knife and the officer hit him over the head with a bottle and dropped him to the ground. The two then kicked the victim unconscious. (Ahiya Raved)
